Friends of the Athenium committee members, led by led by Judy-Ann Emberson, have continued to voice their opposition to the ramp.
They enlisted the help of Eric Martin, director of Eric Martin and Associates Architects, who confirmed the coucil’s building drawings carried an approval date from 2008, meaning it abided by outdated building codes.
But Mr Davis said the drawings were updated to meet current criteria within the last month and added that the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage was consulted following the changes.
Mrs Emberson said committee members had been kept in the dark throughout the planning process.
