Exams began late last week, with English the first cab off the rank.
Junee High School student Tom Snudden said he was well prepared for his string of exams.
“I had a pretty good study plan when we were still in school,” Tom said.
“I might’ve become slightly more cruisey since graduation, but I was still prepared.
“I’m pretty relieved today and we’re on the home stretch now.”
More than 77,000 students in NSW are sitting the HSC exams, which will finish on November 4.
