ReachOut has launched its annual study stress campaign which aims to help students manage stress and anxiety during exams.
A record number of students went to ReachOut.com for advice last year. More than 130,000 students felt they needed help to manage their stress levels.
This year the site includes new content to help parents support their children during their exams.
“Exams are pretty stressful at the best of times, but they can be really overwhelming if you feel your whole life depends on the results,” ReachOut CEO Jono Nicholas said.
“We want young people to know that your marks don’t define you. There are many different options, opportunities and career paths – there’s not just one path to your future.”
Top exam tips include: keep a timetable and be organised, be prepared and understand what is required, make time to relax, eat well and be active. More at: ReachOut.com and search exam and study stress.
