The Gems downed the Shootin’ Stars Swifts 34-19 in Wagga.
Madeleine Commins led the way from goal defence and was named best on court in the final for her efforts.
Her long pass was such a feature of her game, fueling Junee’s offence by creating a string of opportunities for the attacking end.
Madeleine worked beautifully with goalkeeper Mia Phillips, the pair combining to achieve the best defensive record in their division.
Rebounding was the staple of Mia’s game all game and throughout the season.
Goal shooter Trinity Johns was accurate in her shooting, rebounded strongly and timed her driving to the ball very well.
Makeeta Jenkins at centre was everywhere in both attack and defence, regularly feeding the circle with strong passes.
On the wings Lara Drum, Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Hopkins and Rory Rowett worked hard, sharing court time and finding space in attack.
In defence they prevented the opposition from moving the ball quickly down the court.
At goal attack Claire Herbert was solid, moving well, particularly off the centre pass.
The premiership-clinching victory topped off a stunning season for the Gems, who finished their campaign with 479 points for and 127 against.
Junee started their premiership defence with a 35-4 win over Marian Tigers in April, setting the tone for another dominant season.
