Former Australians in Retirement Wagga president John Harding said no personal delivery is likely to pose problems for senior citizens right across the region.
“If the older generation fill out a form and hand it to someone who’s wearing a uniform, they know they’ve done their job properly,” Mr Harding said.
“Rather than pushing buttons on a machine they aren’t comfortable with or having no one to ask questions of.”
Mr Harding said he welcomed the online system so long as other options remained readily available to seniors.
