Fair Trading is taking a limited number of registrations from areas which have not been identified and there have been no positive results recorded in Junee.
Houses built before 1980 can be affected by the insulation which can cause health issues.

Building inspector Brad Wilson believes all homes built before 1980 should be tested not just those who registered.
Mr Wilson has worked in the building industry his entire life and as an inspector for the past 20 years.
During this time he has inspected thousands of properties and feels almost four thousand homes could be affected.
“I saw the pictures (of asbestos insulation) and it scared me because I’ve seen a lot of insulation like that,” he said.
While homeowners are offered some financial support through the government program, Mr Wilson believes there should be programs in place for tradespeople who would have worked on these homes in the past.
“Trades are crawling around in the stuff (insulation),” he said.
“In the past we didn’t have all the safety gear we do now.”
With registration for the free sampling set to cut off on August 1 Mr Wilson is encouraging all homeowners to register.
