One of Junee’s most active community members has been recognised as part of NSW Seniors’ Week. Deputy mayor Pam Halliburton is a member of several organisations as diverse as the Junee Diesels, Red Cross, Cooinda Court and the Cootamundra Nationals branch. This week she was presented with an NSW Seniors Local Achievement Award by Member for Cootamundra Katrina Hodgkinson. Ms Hodgkinson praised Cr Halliburton’s spirit of generosity and enthusiastic drive to contribute to the community.
