The Junee Swap Meet, hosted by Junee Motor Club, is in its fouth year, and is its major fund-raiser event.
“This gives us the funds to be able to run the admin of the club, and the financial back up for our charity Show’n’Shine event in November,” Toby Bowering, vice president and publicity officer of the Junee Motor Club, said.
“We have lots of bookings already a lot of these are pre-booked from swappers from previous years, but there are some great spots still available.”
Between 3000 to 5000 people are expected through the gates, which makes this the largest one day event in Junee.
You are likely to see a large range of items for sale, including, old signs, oil tins, car parts, tools, machinery parts, beverage collectables, tobaccocania, old lawn mowers, bric a brac and lots more.

“We have even had old cars and mini tractors for sale in the past, you never know what will show up,” Mr Bowering said.
The Junee Motor Club will have its gourmet pie van running, and Junee Rotary have kindly offered to run the canteen again, selling bacon and egg rolls, sausage sandwiches and steak sandwiches.
There will also be food and coffee vendors on the day also, for stall holders arriving Saturday night to set up there will be a sausage sizzle running so you won't go hungry.
There is also a vehicle display we have every year that always gets a good roll up.
“Being a motor club we can't have an event and not show off some vehicles,” Mr Bowering said.
“It's a casual display, and great parking for display vehicles to park and walk around the swap meet.”
If you haven’t been before there will be signs around Junee directing you.
So if you are looking for a tail light for your EH Holden or and Coke sign or maybe just wander around looking at old wares and have a bite to eat, then come on over to the 2016 Junee Swap Meet.
