The families and partners of two WA men missing in Mexico fear "a tragic event has occurred" after two bodies were reportedly found in a burnt out van.

Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman, from Golden Bay in Perth's south, were on a surfing trip but have not contacted friends or family for almost a week.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade issued a statement on Sunday, saying the van had been found.
Mexican news outlet noroeste.com said the bodies of two people had been found in a burnt out van in Navolato, one of the most dangerous places in Mexico.
"The families and partners are aware the van in which they were travelling has been located by Mexican authorities and that a tragic event has occurred," DFAT said.
"The families hold deep fears for the safety of their sons but stress that they are still waiting for details to be confirmed.
"Members of Dean and Adam's families will be travelling to Mexico in the coming days and working with Australian consular officials and Mexican authorities. We ask for privacy during this enormously difficult time."
A statement released by the families confirmed they were aware the van the men were travelling in had been found and that a "tragic event" had happened.
On Sunday evening, Adam's mother shared a link to an online fundraising page set up to fly the Lucas and Coleman families to Mexico.
On the post she said: "Our sons life has left us, but they will be with us forever in our hearts ...".
Another family member said the money being raised would help the families "bring our boys home".
The pair was last spotted on November 20, getting off a ferry at Topolobampa at 10pm.
They had reservations and were due to arrive in Guadalajara the next day, but never showed up.
About 7pm on Saturday evening, a woman understood to be the partner of one of the men posted an update on Facebook saying there had been "distressing developments".
