STORM finished the season with a convincing win 44 to 22 over Kooringal.
Storm ending up 6th on the ladder and a quite improved team for 2016.
Ingrid Honner and Sarah Stevens played tough in goals working hard for every point.
Fran Heffernan and Emily Drum worked away at defence, gaining control in the last quarter leaving Storm scoring 16 goals to Kooringal’s three.
Madi Harpley was supportive on the wing and in goals last quarter.
Hayley Stevens continued her havoc in the centre with continued support from Miranda McLaughlin and Elise Drum on the wings.
Stars 42 d Uranquinty 12
GEO Stars were strong against Uranquinty warming up for finals they were rewared with a 42 to 12 win.
Brooke Harpley and Belle Field played tight in goals and with great feeding from the Zara Hamilton on the wing the Stars were in control early.
Emily Churchill offered no weakness intercepting and displaying strong defence.
Skye Pennington and Kate Officer were the strength the Stars will need in finals this week.
Josie Drum covered the centre with assistance from Annaleise Knight on the wing.
Stars will line up against ladder leaders New Kids Saturday on Court 14.
GEO Gems 12 d New Kids 2
GEO Gems also showed they want the title this season with a great win against New Kids 12 to 2.
Gems will take the court at 10am against Uranquinty Sparkles and will enjoy their first taste of finals.
Good luck to all girls this week trying out for representative teams and good luck for the finals.
