Children enrolled at Glenfield Park Goodstart Early Learning spent a day exploring the Roundhouse Museum, Junee Public School and the Junee Library.
“We would like to acknowledge the effort and support we received from the wonderful people of Junee. As a whole the Junee community rallied and made our excursion a success,” teacher Nea Tate said.
Ms Tate said she and the 22 children who went to Junee were incredibly grateful to Junee Buses who donated the travel.
“The volunteers at the museum opened it just for us,” she said.
Meanwhile, Ms Tate said Junee Public School hosted the preschoolers in their playground for lunch.
A visit to the Junee Library to a specially set up story area with craft was the final stop before returning to Wagga.
Ms Tate said she could not describe the feeling about the help she had received.
“It’s a small town with a big heart.”
