The two-hour workshop, run by Tracey Luhrs, will teach participants to make wet felted bowl-shaped vessels from wool fibre for the cost of $10.
This is a shared experience for parent/grandparent and child (10 years+). The number of spaces is limited to 20 bookings.
Meanwhile, the library will also offer an animation workshop for children aged eight to 12 years next Wednesday.
This free workshop will be perfect for any child with an interest in cartoons.
Alice Markham, who is currently studying for her honours in Animation and Visual effects with CSU, will guide children through this burgeoning industry.

“A Birds Song was my very first animation I completed for an assessment in first year,” Alice said.
“Surprisingly that terrible little animation has gotten into film festivals around the world from America to the UK, India and even Iran.”
