With help from Junee’s Ray Warren and the Wagga’s Helloworld travel agency, Cooinda Court raffled off two tickets to the first State of Origin match.
It will be the first Origin match winner Jeff Chisholm has attended and he was excited to have won the prize.
“It’s a great prize and a good cause,” he said.
The long-time rugby league fan has been to plenty of tests and grand finals in the past.
“This is our year, NSW will win the series three-nil,” Mr Chisholm said.
“We’ll win the first match by 20 points,” he predicted.
Cooinda Court’s retrofit has now reached a total of $82,000.
“We’re grateful to all the people who supported it and the people who sold the tickets,” committee president Patricia Butler said.
“I want to thank Ray Warren and Helloworld Wagga for the prize,” Mrs Butler said.
