Maybe the flights ain't cheap, or maybe everyone still feels queasy after Drasko and Bianca's sloppy desserts, but either way the My Kitchen Rules cavalcade is hanging around in Perth for the time being.

Tonight's victims, Eva and Debra, snag the most glorious freeway run in history and gleefully greet family members at time and place convenient to the camera crews.

Eva tells her proud mum that she has "exhausted all of [her] recipes", which means this time, she's going to have to make some stuff up.

Grandma makes a million cups of tea while Debra's dad sticks the boot in a little bit.

"I think you finally remembered how to cook. All the recipes? Nanna's recipes?" he says.

Debra explains that her dear Nanna passed away and everyone takes a moment to share memories.

"I know she's proud of me, so yeah," she says tearfully.

No time for tears though because the clock is counting down. You know what cheers me up? Seafood shopping... not.

"We've done two instant restaurants, three sudden death, it's hard to get rid of us," Debra says.

"You really have to run a bulldozer over us before we can go home."

Debra gets overly excited when she learns the fishmonger has barramundi, like it's a unicorn or something.

The pair channel their inner "woo girl" while setting up their instant restaurant, then get into full Ben and Jerry's mode preparing two different ice creams.

"I think we're not really threatened by the girls because they haven't really been consistent," Camilla says.

"They really need to live up to what is expected of them. Otherwise, they're just all bark and no bite."

Hey girl, come back when you've notched up the highest score in MKR history. Just sayin'.

Everything's going fine, desserts are underway and the savoury stuff is going swimmingly. Which means it's time to stir up a little drama.

Debra takes the mickey out of Eva, who is grossed out by the gross looking scampi.

"They've got these big, black eyes and these big, long antenna things and they've got weird guts," she says.

The guests arrive at the instant restaurant and the girls get started on the entrees – the scampi and some braised beef ribs.

Bianca reckons the pair are "playing it safe" and criticises them (off-camera, of course) for the simple dishes.

"Ribs is almost like a pub meal. We did ribs in the pub challenge," Drasko says and makes a show of sawing through the meat.

Sucked in, the entrees are a hit. Pete says his scampi is "bloody delicious" and Manu reckons the ribs are "fantastic".

"Curry queen" Eva lets Debra take the reins on the red duck curry with crispy skin for main course, while she tackles the steamed barramundi.

"I don't exactly have the best memory and I'm trying to remember my recipes and ratios," Eva says.

"I just have to get in the zone, in my little corner and just rethink."

Yawn. Do something.

Debra nails the crispy skin duck and then chops a cabbage. Eva fluffs some rice. Both make a conscious decision to serve undercooked fish for mains because "it's still cooking".

Is it a plot to give Manu the runs and trap his adorable accent in their house forever? Phew, the Frenchman spots the hazard but is overall happy with the flavours. Pete digs the curry. Drasko and Bianca are predictably "disappointed".

Debra continues her fine form with the sugee cake and orange ice cream, but Eva drops the ball with her pandan ice cream which has crystallised into a "weird consistency".

"I hate you pandan, we should never use you again," Debra says.

They salvage the weird ice cream by dumping in a glass and showering it with ginger crumbs, which proves a mistake because Pete doesn't like them.

No joy on the sugee cake either, but it turns out Manu has some in the fridge at home. He didn't bring it along.

The other teams all score the girls a six, except for Drasko and Bianca who submit a five. Even with undercooked fish and dodgy desserts, Eva and Debra manage a total of 63, easily surpassing Drasko and Bianca.

Drasko looks sick... and I don't think it was the raw fish.
