Rub-a-Dub Dog Scrub is the newest business in Junee and has opened up at 91 Lorne Street.
Like their owner’s man’s best friend always appreciates a hair cut and a bath.
Matted hair, tangled fur, long nails and even puppy training are all part of owner Trish Edwards’ specialties.
She said every breed was different but she cater for toy sized dogs to St Bernards.
“A lot of people think they don’t need a trim but even if it’s winter you still have to clip (hair),” Mrs Edwards said.
“Coats still mat in winter, if they’re left for months they start twisting close to the skin.
“Small problems can quickly become serious problems (without grooming),” Mrs Edwards said.
Mrs Edwards said moving into Lorne Street about finding a central location for pet owners from Temora, Cootamundra, Wagga and Junee.
“I want to attract people from out of town, they can take advantage of our attractions while their dog is looked after,” she said.
