Women’s B grade was first up where Jail Birds and Savages were evenly matched. The game was a battle for both teams and the defence was solid and was equally matched and the game went to full-time at two-all.
Amy Hanlon scored twice in ordinary time for Savages while Christa Wilson and Fiona Walker netted for Jail Birds. Extra time was called and it didn’t take long for Savages to get the ball into the back of the net with Hanlon scoring the winning goal and making it her second hat-trick of goals in successive weeks. Savages will now meet Fruit Tingles in the Women’s B grade grand final.
