This week the final cheque of $14,5000 - the profits from the community group’s biggest fundraiser was handed over.
The Junee VRA and RFS groups also received valuable donations of $1000 and $500 respectively.
“We always wish we can donate more,” poker run organiser Ron Hindmarsh said.
More than 400 motorbikes joined the event, now in its 11th year and Mr Hindmarsh said feedback received had been positive.
Mr Hindmarsh said it was due to the support received from volunteers for the event, through Can Assist and other groups which made the donation possible.
Can Assist member Lyn Whiles said the group was always very grateful for any donation it received – no matter the size.
“We cover a lot of financial challenges for people, the poker run is one of our largest fund raisers,” Mrs Whiles said.
“We do have other fund raisers and raffles through out the year which complement this donation,” she said.
Up to 60 patients are supported through the funds paying for treatment and medicines.
