The 'You've Got Talent Quest' is part of the Railway Cafe's festival offering.
"We know from what we've audition so far we'll have some pretty good bands," Railway Café owner Debbie Daley said.
However, it's not all about putting on a good show, with $500 in cash prizes for the winner and runner-up.
From 11am on Saturday and Sunday, musicians, singers and dancers can head to the Railway Café to audition for the chance to perform in front of the festival crowd on March 7 and 8.
Jamie Way will headline at the café plus performances from Disney's Frozen characters and 50 market stalls.
Tickets for the Tin Hare train shuttles are available from the cafe.
