Todd Larkham was running a private tennis club in Canberra a decade ago when his attention was drawn to the pudgy but promising nine-year-old playing in the second round of a local 10-and-under tournament. Larkham, a former UK-based Australian pro turned coach, could scarcely believe what he saw.
