The golf club has been announced as one of the recipients of the community building partnership grants.
It will mean the club will receive $16,500 from the state government to completely resurface the area.
It's believed it has been more than 20 years since the golf club's car park has been resurfaced, although there has been some small patching done over the years.
Director and club captain Kevin Jacobson said there had been plenty of wear and tear on the surface over two decades.
Mr Jacobson said winning the grant was a vote of confidence in the club.
"It will enhance the entrance to the club area, we need to improve first impressions for our visitors," he said.
"The only way we can improve the club is through grants.
"We're all volunteers who work on the club from the bar to the greens," Mr Jacobson said.
One of the beneficiaries of the new surface will be the riders attending the Junee Poker Run which is hosted during the first weekend in February.
"The poker run is one of the club's biggest fund-raisers which we host," Mr Jacobson said.
The new surface will make it easier for riders in addition to members and players attending the club.
To help improve the longevity of the surface once it's resurfaced, the club's bins will be moved to keep traffic to light vehicles.
Mr Jacobson said further grants would be sought to continue improving the club's facilities, with the focus of volunteers now set on completing the resurfacing project.
Other groups who received funds from the community building partnership program include the Old Junee Progress Association who will get $6200.
It will be used to assist in re-roofing the hall, meanwhile $5000 will be used by Wantabadgery McDonald Memorial Hall Inc to assist with the installation of a statue honouring Senior Constable Edward Bowen.
Constable Bowen was shot dead by bushranger Captain Moonlite's gang during a siege at Wantabadgery in 1879 - with the bushranger later hanged for the crime.
Member for Murrumbidgee Adrian Piccoli said the three projects in the Junee shire were part of a group of 19 with a total of $300,000 distributed across the electorate.
Mr Piccoli said there was strong interest in the grants program with more than 3000 applications received across the state.
