It all happened at the NSW School Spectacular where Junee High School student Lucy Clarke is herself one of the stars of the core choir.
One of the benefits of performing in the school spectacular was the opportunity for cast members to meet X-Factor season five competitor Jai Waetford.
Before making her way to Sydney to perform, Lucy spent months rehearsing using the internet to connect with mentors and singing instructors.
It's the fourth time Lucy has been part of the end of year performance.
All the work comes together for two days with the cast performing four times - each performance is three hours long.
Despite the hard work needed, Lucy, along with the choir, performed each time with a smile along with other members of the choir.
Performing in the school spectacular was just one of Lucy's achievements this year.
This year the 14-year-old was also part of the Riverina Choir which performed at the Sydney Town Hall in May and she earned a position in the NSW School Choir which has performed twice at the Sydney Opera House in August.
