The GEO Group and Junee Business and Trades (JBT) might just have the answer.
This week the cubby house which the GEO Group has donated to a raffle to raise funds for Christmas in Broadway passed another milestone.
With the frame sorted, cladding has started to be added with lining, a colour bond roof and a lick of paint still to be done.
The raffle will be used to cover the expenses for Christmas on Broadway and Junee Correctional Centre general manager Andy Walker said ticket sales had also reached a milestone.
It's estimated more than 600 tickets had already been sold and Mr Walker was hopeful another 400 would be sold in the next two weeks.
He attributed the success to the community.
"The community has really gotten behind this," he said.
With supervision from NSW TAFE staff, inmates have been working away on the cubby house which will also be furnished with toy stoves, fridges and washers.
"It'll be a great Christmas present for some children or grandchildren in town," Mr Walker said.
"It's an honour to donate this cubby house and be a major sponsor for Christmas on Broadway."
Various wooden toys including planes, trucks, rocking horses, farm yards, toy boxes, stoves and washing machines will also be sold during the event with 10 per cent of proceeds donated to Cooinda Court.
Tickets are $5 and are available from AGnVet Services, T-Line Steel, Remax, Commins Hendriks or the Licorice Factory.
Winners will be drawn on December 17.
