A strong field of four young women competed for the role of Junee's agricultural ambassador, including Sarah Atherton, Sally Dean and Bonnie Becquet.
Junee's Jemima Hart was named Showgirl for 2014 who said the win was a shock but was excited about continuing the adventure.
"I had not pictured myself as a winner," she said.
"Bonnie was so good with her public speaking and all the girls were great."
It's not the first time Miss Hart has competed and she said knowing the process helped.
"I learned from the first one and I was a bit more prepared but it was still very nerve-wracking being on the stage," she said.
Miss Hart will progress to the zone competition in February.
"It would be amazing to make it to the Royal Easter Show," she said.
Miss Atherton was awarded second place and said she was pleased with the result.
"I went a lot better than I thought I would have," she said.
It wasn't Miss Atherton's first prize for the day as she competed in the junior judging earlier in the day.
She earned a second and third place in the merino sheep and merino fleece judging.
"I've always loved the livestock aspect of agriculture," she said.
"I was beaten by two young boys, which isn't a problem because it's great to see young people who are passionate about livestock and agriculture."
