Mr Edson said it was a shame to see Albury clinch their third premiership in a row in such a dominant fashion.
"A good grand final match-up would have been Wagga and Gundagai," he said.
Mr Edson marked the milestone on Friday among family and friends at the Junee Multi-Purpose Service (MPS), sharing 105 cupcakes baked by nurse Jenny Breen.
Among the residents of the MPS, Mr Edson holds the distinct honour of being the only living resident who has lived in the MPS since 2008, when it was built.
A former railway worker, Mr Edson moved to Junee in 1984 after spending 20 years working on the railway in Ganmain and being a strapper for the town's Australian Rules side.
When it comes to long life, Mr Edson's son Bernie said his father had a simple mantra.
"No worries, no money, no smoking and a whiskey every night before bed," he said.
"He doesn't worry at all," Bernie said.
Bernie who visits his father four times a week said the staff at the MPS looked after Junee's oldest resident incredibly well.
"The staff look after him too well," Bernie joked.
"He keeps them on their toes."
