Licensee Damien Field said there would be live music from Nathan Charlton, X-Ray Cats and Clint Creighton.
"Mum has been battling cancer for six months and Can Assist have been helping her out with the battle," Mr Field said.
"The local Can Assist people have been a great support, we thought we'd give a bit back.
"For what groups like them do for Junee and the wider community is wonderful."
In addition to the live entertainment, pony rides, a jumping castle and a photo booth will entertain the children.
A Junee lamb will be part of a $12 "spit and salad" dinner.
Mr Field said several raffles were planned and an auction of sporting memorabilia.
Laurie Daley has donated several signed footballs, while Carly Dorman donated a signed Illawarra Steelers jersey while one of 250 NRL "team of the century" souvenirs has also been donated.
Mr Field said a marquee would be set up in the hotel's beer garden and a flat-screen television, which will be showing the AFL grand final between Sydney and Hawthorn and the NRL preliminary final between Penrith and Canterbury.
Mr Field said donations from businesses in the community meant all proceeds would go to Junee Can Assist.
The Locomotive Hotel's family fun day begins at 2pm on Saturday September 27.
