The money will provide a significant boost to the fund-raising appeal, which is nearing $30,000.
"We could not have wanted any more; a wonderful meal, great entertainment and good company," Junee Business and Trades (JBT) president Tony Butt said.
"It's gratifying to have the Junee and district community come together, from local farmers, to business, the GEO Group, Junee Shire Council to local community groups."
Mr Butt said the night went off without a hitch thanks to generous donations from local businesses.
He said rumours around town suggesting there might be grants available to help Cooinda Court were not true.
"The truth of the matter is we are not allowed to drive an un-roadworthy car on the street and we will not be allowed to put our aged residents in a facility which is not up to standard," he said.
"If Cooinda Court can not raise the money and has to close, then the residents will either have to move back in with their family or go to a larger regional institution that is compliant and at a greater expense to the family.
"With the success of the night, JBT members are keen to make this an annual event and have pencilled in September 11, 2015 to host the next ball," Mr Butt said.
Junee Business and Trades wasn't the only group to donate at the charity ball, with Junee's Country Women's Association branch handing over $600 plus smaller donations from guests.
"I am humbled and overwhelmed by your continuous and unwavering support of not only Cooinda Court but also the many important organisations within the Junee community," Cooinda Court management committee president Patricia Butler said.
"Whenever you are asked for support you do not hesitate.
"I see time and time again you giving freely, willing and without question; your generosity knows no bounds.
"Junee has the most amazing people here, please never change."
Following the charity ball, the Junee spring fair last Sunday raised an additional $1600.
