The Rams defeated a spirited Ag College side, 29-22.
However, it wasn't an easy win, with the game finishing with draw at 17-all, with the Rams taking the extra time to finish the game.
The much younger Wagga side were straight on the attack from the first whistle and scored the games first try, but weren't able to convert it.
Junee got their first points on the board when they were in Ag College's half and won a penatly, with specialist kicker Dan Moloney easily giving the Rams two points.
Less than 10 minutes later Captain Harry Fitzgibbon battled his way through the oppositions defence after some hard work by the team to push into Ag College's territory.
That try gave Junee the lead, but just before half time Ag College replied with their own try and goal to go into the break with a 12-10 advantage.
Ag College gave the Rams no rest in the second piling on the pressure with Junee conceding several penalties and points.
A try and a try and goal to Junee in the second half left the teams level with 10 minutes in the second to go.
Both teams pushed furiously to get a result and at full-time Junee was defending metres from their try-line. A penalty against Junee meant one of their players was sin-binned for 10 minutes - eventually returning to the field in extra time.
In extra-time it was Junee who scored the first try - thanks to Jermaine Tuua after the Rams fought their way through Ag College's sturdy defence, with Moloney adding to his haul of penalty goals.
Another try to Ag College, but a failed conversion left Junee with a slim margin and the Rams went on the attack to secure their victory.
Gus MacLennan was eventually put over the line, with Daryn Deacon taking the final kick of the game.
Praising the teams' performance, Fitzgibbon said man of the match, and winner of the Ken McMullen Memorial medal Hugh Kanaley was impressive on the front row.
"Dan Moloney was strong at number ten, Sam Hobbs at 15 had a great game and so did Josh Whitty at centre, making a lot of covering tackles saving our skin a few times," he said.
