Winners were then decided from the three games completed on the Saturday.
With five teams winning all their games, positions and prize-money came down to margins.
Fifth place was the local team of Peter Guinan, Bryan Purse and Ian Cooper while the winners also had a Junee connection with greenkeeper Warren Charlton playing second to Brett Pritchard and G McFadyen as lead.
Second place was taken out by visitors from Dapto Citizens with I Bailey lead, Phil Reynolds second and J Hills skip.
Third place went to a composite team of P McInnes, C Good and J Freeman.
Fourth place went to Wagga RSL team of Jack Cousley, Greg Miller and Martin Cousley. President Richard Thomas thanked the major sponsors and praised the club's tireless volunteers who cooked meals from Friday night until Sunday lunch and for keeping the fluids up during both days.
Many visitors stayed on for a chat after the tournament was declared complete on Sunday morning.
Nathan Charlton received a special thanks for performing on Saturday night and enthralling the captive audience.
Ian Cooper and Bryan Purse played in the district champion of club champion pairs last Sunday and came unstuck on the last three ends of the final to finish as runners up after a closely contested match.
Talented junior Jake Hersant travelled to Figtree to represent zone eight in the state junior titles last weekend and recorded three wins and two losses.
The two teams that defeated zone eight went on to finish atop the ladder with zone eight finishing fifth from 16 teams.
