Ian Cooper, Bryan Purse and Peter Guinan have come close to victory in Junee's biggest tournament in the past and it is their dream to win the title.
"We're confident we can win, but we have last year's winners coming back and winners from three years ago - the Green brothers," Cooper said.
So far up to 28 teams have signed on to play, with 90 people to converge on the greens to battle it out for prizes of up to $3000.
Depending on the number of teams, prizes can be awarded down to fifth place, with Westpac In-Store, the GEO Group and the IGA supporting the prize pool.
The competition should be lively over the two days.
"The greens are in great condition," Guinan said.
"They're the three best greens in the district at this time."
Two-bowl triples will be played, meaning each team can earn a maximum of six points.
"Normally you play with three bowls but it makes it much harder than a standard game," Cooper said.
Each team will play six games of 18 ends in a blind draw.
Purse has a significant personal connection to the tournament.
"It's what brought me to Junee," he said.
"I came up with Dapto Citizen's Club and liked it so much I came back to live here," Purse said.
The Westpac In-Store Triples Classic begins on Saturday at the Junee Bowling Club.
