CSU led the division going into the game and players saw the match as a turning point to move the Cowgirls up from third place.
"From the first whistle, the Cowgirls were brilliant," coach Rachel Cooper said.
Bec Gardner and Briony Spencer defended with amazing agility and court awareness, keeping the Reddies to just three goals in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, down at Junee's attacking end, Tamika Moore and Amanda Crane were dominant, scoring 18 goals in the first.
Attacking players Kellie Becquet and Kylee Huard ensured the Moore-Crane combination was unstoppable.
Dee Mace was solid in wing defence, as was Bec Kemp.
Cowgirls ran out winner 65-27.
"The end result was not an accurate reflection of how tough the game really was," Cooper said.
Cowgirls' annihilation of the Reddies catapulted them into first place on the B2 division ladder.
With finals only a few weeks away, Cowgirls are positioned for a really solid chance at making the grand final.
Cooper praised the determination of each of the Cowgirls, awarding her best on court to Briony Spencer.
Bec Gardner clean swept the players' player and the opposition's best and fairest awards.
On Saturday the Cowgirls play Ag College Green from 3.30pm at Equex.
