The event is now in its fourth year and its first under the guidance of the Junee Rotary Club.
"Our idea is to make it one of the marquee events, not just for Junee but for the district," organiser Des Carmody said.
Mr Carmody said the club and the markets were keen to work in with other tourist initiatives when they were held.
For the Taste Riverina festival in October, a special lamb-on-the-spit barbecue will be at the markets.
Mr Carmody said farm or homegrown produce or homemade handicrafts were preferred at the markets.
"The majority of stallholders are selling produce whether it be olive oil, fruit and veg, bread, homemade cakes or even plants," Mr Carmody said.
"We've invested some of the club's money in improving the event," Club president Doug Bell said
Mr Bell said it formed part of the club's efforts to raise money.
"If local residents were interested in selling their produce to visitors or locals - they also support the community by holding a stall," he said.
"We're quite grateful for the effort John Rickard and his partner Shirley have put into developing this event over the past four years and we want to see it continue," Mr Bell said.
"We're always on the lookout for new stallholders, without stallholders we won't get the crowds and vice versa," Mr Carmody said.
The club has also extended an invitation to local charities to boost their own fund-raising efforts.
"We welcome local charities as stallholders which can give them a hand in their endeavours in addition to the help the club provides throughout the year," Mr Carmody said.
