Junee and Tolland played out a thrilling 2-all draw which gives the Jaguars a shot at claiming the competition's top prize.
It wasn't a done deal, with Junee starting off with only 10 men.
The arrival of Joe Crowder gave the team a full complement and Crowder made an instant impact, scoring the game's first goal.
"We probably had the chance to win, but we'll take the two-all draw," co-coach Isaac Cooper said.
While Tolland was able to level the score, a second goal by co-coach Jason Mutimer gave the Jaguars the edge.
"(But) a few of our boys switched off and it just goes to show you've got to play the full 90 minutes not just 85," Cooper said.
A goal by Tolland's Fred Gardner put the teams on equal footing, but tireless defence by the Jaugars kept them in contention.
Cooper said the team was full of confidence with the result, demonstrating the Jaguars' ability with a full team.
The team's immediate focus is on their game against Henwood Park this weekend.
In their previous game, Henwood Park thumped Junee 5-nil and Cooper was hopeful the Jaguars could perform, but injuries and scheduled unavailabilities could play havoc.
Jason Mutimer, Scott Mutimer, Ray Jones and Jake Crowder won't be playing and while this gives Junee the chance to blood some younger players, it does deprive the team of experience.
"We're trying not to take too much out of this weekend's game."
Cooper praised strong performances by Jade Becroft and Jay O'Mara.
"(Becroft) is one of the first picked for the team ... we're thrilled with the way he applies himself week in and week out."
