From July 1, the cost for court hire at the centre rose from $10 an hour per court to $18 an hour per court.
"I don't think anyone would put up with an 80 per cent increase in one hit - it's an unreasonable increase," Junee junior netball president Tracee Breen said.
The club will instead use St Joseph's Primary School's facility and will pay for the use of what the club has budgeted to be spent at the recreation centre.
"The cost of $18 per hour per court has stopped us hosting matches with other clubs as they have facilities which don't cost them," Mrs Breen said.
"Council need to be pro-active and attract more users, not sting the users which have been using the facility for many years."
It will mean council forgoes revenue from the junior netball club's training which includes court hire and any sales through the canteen.
"Council believes the recreation centre is the best facility to help them grow their sport, but we respect their decision to leave the facility," general manager James Davis said.
Mayor Lola Cummins said it was junior netball's decision to make.
"It's not a large part of the facility's revenue," she said.
"As far as the days of 'we were told we would get it for nothing', as far as I'm aware, that was not the case."
Cr Cummins said with junior netball no longer using the courts, it would free up the space for another group to enjoy the facility.
"I don't believe it will affect any other clubs using the facility in the future."
