Despite the uninviting weather, the team made the most of its game against Hay and won convincingly 21-5 at Loftus Oval.
It was the team's second home game of the season and club captain Gus MacLennan said good numbers on the bench allowed the Rams to get fresh legs onto the ground.
"Hay's forward pack was as brutal as we've always expected them to be," MacLennan said.
"They weren't expecting us to come at them the way we did but."
The conditions put the game squarely into the hands of both team's forward packs, with the backline players very rarely seeing the ball.
Pressure heaped on the Cutters meant several forced errors allowed Junee to stretch out to a 14-nil half-time lead.
In the second half, the Rams were running into the wind but it hardly mattered. The home side scored another try before Hay was able to get some points on the board with its only try.
MacLennan said Germaine Tua's attack and defensive work helped the Rams to the win, while Sam Hogg's work directing play with passing and chip kicks was impressive.
In only his fourth game of rugby union, MacLennan said Rick Judd was continuing to improve to become one of the team's standouts.
Even with the blustery wind, Dan Moloney still successfully converted three tries.
The Rams' final home game of the season will be on July 19 when they play Young.
