One Sydney woman is looking to atone for a mistake she made and her search has led her to Junee.
For the past five years Elizabeth (surname withheld) has been completing her own bucketlist, contacting old friends and catching up with them after having lost contact years ago.
The final name on the list is a man called William, or "Willy" to his friends, who was from Junee.
"I grew up in Sydney and met him in Seven Hills," Elizabeth said.
They lived together for six months from October 1992 before Elizabeth ended the relationship in early 1993.
"I stupidly broke it off," she said.
"I want to apologise to him, it was the stupidest mistake of my life.
"It was really bizarre what I did, I just wanted to explain it to him."
Her search has been hampered because she only has a few scant details about William and a photo from Elizabeth's brother's wedding they attended together in 1993.
"He went down to Junee during Christmas in 1992 to visit his two daughters from a previous relationship," she said.
William ran a "roadie" business and when the Beach Boys travelled to Australia in January 1993 he worked with the band for their performance at Narrabeen Reserve on Sydney's northern beaches.
Every avenue she has gone down has failed to produce a lead and Elizabeths hoping people in Junee might know more.
William would be in his early 40s, while his daughters would be in their early 20s.
Anyone who may know more about William can contact Elizabeth via email at tiggerthetiger888@hotmail.com.
