Run at the start of February, hundreds of bikers rode off from Junee Golf Club on a cruise around the Riverina before returning for a blues concert.
Organiser Ron Hindmarsh said $15,600 had been donated to Junee’s Can Assist branch while the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) received $1600.
Both Junee Fire and Rescue NSW and Rural Fire Service received $500 each.
“It’s a substantial donation for the 10th year despite our numbers being down,” Mr Hindmarsh said.
He paid tribute to the business and locals who continued to support the event including people who volunteered to help out to ensure the event was a success.
Mr Hindmarsh said the organising committee were blown away by the support from people volunteering to help out.
“Without our sponsors and volunteers, a day like this wouldn’t go ahead, it also means we can contribute more to Can Assist and the VRA,” he said.
