A P-plater has been charged after being caught drink-driving with his young son in his car, police say.
The 31-year-old father was travelling in a Mazda on the Princes Highway at Eden on the NSW far south coast when he was stopped by officers about 4pm yesterday, police said.
He allegedly recorded a positive breath test and was taken to Eden police station.
He then returned a reading of .264, police said.
The man's P1 provisional licence was suspended and he was charged with high-range drink-driving.
He was bailed to appear in Eden Local Court next month.
