Mild weather provides perfect shooting day

29 Jul, 2010 11:28 AM
IT was back home to the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Rifle Club for some shooters who have been away for the past couple of weeks.

The weather was mild and provided ideal shooting conditions for this time of the year.

However, the results did not reflect the conditions.

Possibly shooters took the shorter 400-metre range too lightly, as no possibles were scored.

Three F/class shooters from the Junee Club are going to Sydney this weekend as part of the NSW Country team for the annual city versus country match.

Anthony Hall is also representing the Riverina District Rifle Association in the State Champion of Champions match.

Shooting at Junee this Saturday will be at 500 yards commencing at 1pm.
