THE Junee Diesels have been steadily preparing for the West Wyalong knockout set down for February 26 and 27.
New recruits Willie Purcell and Fred Boudali and returning Josh Whitty and Jordan Walker will turnout in for tournament, having been in training since December. Sam Quinn and Adam Perry will also return from injury.
The club is hoping supporters will make the trek to West Wyalong to see the team play.
The following weekend the Diesels will start a three-week stint in Kiama for the Nines Tournament, which is a hotly contested, fast-paced carnival.
With the way the players have responded to new coach Mark Elia, the club is confident of executing its new game plan and is looking forward to working on its new combinations to commence the 2010 premiership assault.
