AS the junior netball competition draws to a close the GEO under 10s played their second last game against Kooringal Maroon.
In a tough game Eliza Turton and Abbey Smith found space in the centre to offer support to Miranda McLaughlin and Brianna Crowder, who continue to produce some great netball.
Taylor May Spackman worked hard in defence with Madison Harpley supporting her with the same grit and determination she offers each week.
Gemma Crawford, Sarah Stevens and Emily Guinan used every opportunity in goals to score.
Kooringal emerged the 16-6 winner.
Best and fairest went to Madison Harpley.
In the final round next week, the under 10 team plays the Wagga Warriors on court 5.
Junee junior netball was recently presented with a cheque by the GEO Group for $2000.
From the money, training equipment, new netballs and skirts for the under 10 team have been purchased.
Mon’s Family Day Care chipped in an amount for the girls’ new shirts.
Players have also been subsidised for gala and training days.
The money also went as far as allowing 2011 registrations to be subsidised.
