Last weekend Charlton’s team decisively defeated
Tony McAuliffe, Jed Passlow, Brett Fanning and skip Allen Shaw, 28-11.
Charlton won the first end and his team didn’t look back.
Wednesday’s social bowls had a good turnout, with players
Adam Whicker, Tim Ryan and Henry Grabsch on plus seven taking the win from Ashley Whicker, Murray Dobson and Arthur Devlin on plus six.
A huge crowd enjoyed the Christmas party at the club on Friday night with a great baked dinner prepared by the club ladies – but the men were not to be outdone, sorting dinner for the following Saturday night.
A working bee is planned for Saturday, December 24 starting at 7am with everyone encouraged to attend – more help will see the work completed faster.
