THE pennants season kicks off for players at the Junee Bowling Club on Saturday, February 4.
Any players who are unavailable for the season should advise selectors as soon as possible.
In Wednesday social bowls, Bruce Makeham and Rob Minister took out the major prize with a score of plus 18, followed by Brian Anderson and Bryan Purse on plus 15.
Len Robinson, Henry Grabsch and Harry Thompson finished with plus 13 while the team of Al Kearins, Ken Vivian and Brian Smith had minus 13.
Saturday’s social winners are Bruce Makeham and Wilbur Martin on plus 18, and runners-up Ken Vivian and Harry Thompson scored plus 11.
Tim Ryan and Murray Dobson finishined with plus one on Saturday while Ian Fitzgerald and Lyle Billingham were on minus 18 and Barry Smith and Brian Anderson had minus 30.
Junee Bowling Club’s business house competition starts on Tuesday, January 24.
