THE Group Nine representative teams have been announced.
Trent Schubach, Andrew McCarthy and Patrick Sweeney
have made the under 15 team, with William Holt being accepted in the under 14 and Lochy Landrigan, Cameron Hands, Luke Morton and Tom Fitzgerald making the combined under 12 team to play Group 20 in Leeton on April 18.
The game for the under 12s is a one -off as Group 20 only wants to play one game against Group Nine.
For the rest of the season, they will train and play as separate northern and southern pool development teams.
The under 11s played in the Mini and Mod Carnival at Cootamundra with mixed results.
In their first game, they played Gundagai, winning five tries to four, lost to Cootamundra 12 tries to two and then lost to Harden one try to nil.
The under 9s also ventured to Cootamundra and although they had no wins on the day, they played well for their first hitout of the season with new coaches and will only improve as the season progresses.
Junee had five new eager coaches participating in a coaches’ course in Wagga on Sunday.
Adam Clarke, Alex Siemsen, Doug O’Rafferty, Darren O’Rafferty and Justin Field have signed up as coaches for 2009 with Junee.
Training days have been set with the under 6s having their first training run on Tuesday, April 28 at 4.30pm.
The other teams’ training days include Wednesdays for the under 12s, and Thursdays for the under 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s, 13s, 14s and 15s.
All training is at 4.30pm at Loftus Oval.
