Women shooters in scoring frenzy

JUNEE’S six-a-side soccer competition continues to see a mixture of close games, with a few blown-out scores at Willow Park, with 40 goals scored in seven games in the women’s competition.

The men only managed to score 15 goals in their seven games.

Topssip maintained top spot on the women’s ladder with a convincing win over Illabo Hotel, while Fruit Tingles hammered the Demons in their match.

Licorice Htrs accounted for The B Team in their deferred match catch-up and then were on the receiving end from Foxy Loxys in their normal game.

MPF Engineering got back on the winner’s list with a solid win over Katrina Sweeney Team, while A Bit Random took the points in a very close game with Savages.

Unruly Ink Angels avenged their first round defeat by taking the points from Kylendy’s Wild Katz in a solid hit-out.

In the men’s games, Silverbacks continued to hold top spot taking the points from Junee Junction in a close game.

Hell Raisers dropped out of the top four after going down to Get Plastered, who have now moved into the top four.

Dirtbags took the points over Team Judd in a hard and fast game, while Control Freaks caused the upset of the round taking the game away from Anzacs in a close game.
