THE Junee Soccer Club has a new look management committee after its annual general meeting held recently.
Michael Commins is the new senior branch president, while Prue Duncan has taken up the senior branch secretary’s position. Jenny Duncan has taken on senior branch treasurer, while Genelle Keough has taken on the senior branch registrar’s job. Senior branch publicity officer is Michael Smith.
Lyn Puttock is general secretary.
The junior branch sees Craig Duncan as president, Annette Foley as treasurer and Wayne White as junior registrar.
The club social committee has a lot of new faces this year with Carl Baldry, Kylie Holmes, Abby Duncan, Prue Duncan, Fletcher Cook, Lawrence Moore and Aidan Judd all looking forward to an eventful year.
The club will be holding its senior and junior registrations days this Saturday, March 6 at Burns Park from noon until 4:30pm and again the following Saturday, March 13 at the same time.
All new and returning players are welcome to come and register.
The club has appointed a number of junior and senior coaches for the 2010 season with Genelle Keough again running the senior women’s team.
The senior men’s coach is yet to be announced.
In the juniors, Wayne White is rooball co-ordinator and coach, under 9s Dom Shepherd, under 10s Craig Duncan, under 11s Brad Wall, under 12s Terry Judd and manager Aidan Judd, under 13s Adam Baldock.
The club are still seeking an under 14s and under 15/16s Coach.
Junior girls coach is Matt Miller while Craig Duncan is the senior girls coach.
The club is seeking managers for the above teams and anyone interested is asked to let us know at registration day.
The 2010 senior competition will be kicking off on April 10 and 11 and the junior competition will kick off on May 8. Coaches will advise junior players of training times and days.
