 Ladder leaders left in limbo

Ladder leaders left in limbo

26 Jan, 2012 06:30 AM
SIX-a-side games last Wednesday saw some very close matches and a couple of blow-outs but the main interest was in the top-of-the-table clashes between Dirtbags and Hell Raisers, and Silverbacks and Team Judd.

Both matches ended in draws, underlining the closeness of

the teams in the top half of the table.

Dirtbags and Hell Raisers played out a thrilling nil-all draw in a game that could have gone either way, while Silverbacks and Team Judd played out an exciting 2-all draw.

Competition in the women’s ladder is tough and there’s been some big moves with Licorice Htrs moving up to second, MPF Engineering moved to third spot, Savages in fourth.

But Fruit Tingles who were second last week have dropped to fifth and Unruly Ink Angels, formlerly in third, have dropped to sixth.

Last week Licorice Htrs accounted for Fruit Tingles in a very hard-fought encounter while competition leaders Topssip had to work hard to take the points over A Bit Random.

Kylendys Wild Katz overcame Katrina Sweeney Team in a solid win, while Foxy Loxys overcame a spirited The B Team to take the points.

The men’s team matches have been hard fought with Control Freaks taking the points against Sheather’s Shenanigans.

While Balls Deep FC took the points in a close win over Anzacs.
