JUNEE NETBALL
THE Junee Netball annual general meeting was held at the Junee Junction Recreation Centre on Monday night.
Rebecca Kemp and Kelly Reynolds were voted to continue their roles as president and vice- president.
The new season will start Monday, April 19, with first prize $300 and second prize $150.
Best and fairest awards and prizes will be offered at completion of the season.
Team nominations or individual nominations will be accepted with registration forms available at the Junee Junction Recreation Centre. A registration and payment night will be held Monday, April 12 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Registration will be $50 per person and this needs to be paid on or before Monday, April 12, so teams can be finalised.
Junee Netball would also welcome any qualified persons
willing to umpire on Monday nights.
Qualified umpires will be paid per game.
On Saturday, March 20 all under-9 girls and under 10s to 12s will be welcomed to the Junee Junction Recreation Centre for a netball development day.
Under 9 girls will start at 9am and under 10s and 12s will start at 10am.
The Junee Netball Club will sponsor the day to allow any girls attending to be admitted free of charge.
Girls are asked to bring a
drink bottle and a netball if possible.
With the Wagga netball competition around the corner for under 9s Netta and under 10s there will be registration forms available on the day.
Training for Netta and under 10s will commence Wednesday, March 24 at 3.30pm to 4.30pm at a cost of $2 per child.
If anyone is interested call into the Junee Junction Recreation Centre and complete a registration and payment can be left with Alan or any staff member.
