Primary school embraces local community

26 Aug, 2010 11:50 AM
LAST week St Joseph’s Primary School combined Catholic Schools Week with national Numeracy and Literacy Week.

Each class had the opportunity to share activites with their peers and parents at a special assembly.

A showcase of the range of academic, cultural and sporting opportunities offered at St Joseph’s was displayed at the Railway Cafe.

The choir, which is currently preparing for the 2010 Wagga Music Eisteddfod, presented a delightful music and dance performance.

Many families and friends dropped by to view a wonderful display of the students’ work.

A successful meet and greet was held for parents and staff.

Last Thursday the whole infants school celebrated a special liturgy to honour Catholic Schools Week.

The infants teachers prepared a visial presentation before children presented prayers and reflections through voice, music and gestures.
