Play helps fund project

20 May, 2010 11:15 AM
WOMEN on the edge have helped the Friends of the Athenium and Cultural Centre raise further funds towards the heritage listed theatre.

Around 70 people took the opportunity last week to see the travelling Albury-Wodonga Theatre Company present the stage play Bombshells to help raise funds for tables and chairs for the Athenium.

Staged at the Junee Bowling Club, the crowd was entertained by the play which centred on detailing the lives of six women, who are trying to lead multiple lives including child, mother, wife, star and lover, with each trying to be the best in all roles.
