Murrumbidgee a budget winner

17 Jun, 2010 10:13 AM
THE next financial year will see millions poured into the Murrumbidgee electorate thanks to the latest NSW budget.

Country Labor MLC for the Murrumbidgee Tony Catanzariti said residents would still see improvements in infrastructure and frontline services.

“Murrumbidgee is a big winner out of the NSW budget, which will invest in important local infrastructure and services so we can build for our future,” he said.

In the budget breakdown, Junee High School will receive around $145,000 for a stormwater and sewerage upgrade.

Junee Shire Council has also been allocated $451,000 to maintain local roads.
